We welcome all who are worshipping with us on this most Holy season of Easter - Christ is Risen, Christ is Risen Indeed! St Peter's is a specifically Prayer Book Parish theologically as well as liturgically. What this means is that traditional liturgy (services) are the worshipping expression of normative Anglican, (i.e., of the Anglican Communion) belief. We hope that you find your time in our midst spiritually refreshing and beneficial.

Vestry News: At our last vestry meeting (March 21) several issues were raised and actions taken. A slight remuneration increase was approved for our organist and praise for her and the choir’s work on the Lenten Lessons and Meditations service was expressed. Bids for the parish lawn mowing were to be received in the ensuing weeks and a contractor chosen. This has been done. The nature and extend of our Parish’s participation in the Diocesan Nicodemus Project initiative was discussed. What would fit and work in our Parish will be discussed further on April 25th. Increased attention to, and intentionality at, welcoming and engaging newcomers was stressed and several vestry members volunteered to make special efforts at doing just that. Vestry was informed that our application, in aid of the Exterior Restoration Project, for funds to the Fredericton Community Foundation Inc. would be submitted by the April 1st deadline. This was accomplished on time. As a result of a request from the ACW, the topic of the refurbishing and re-hanging the historic photos from the old hall was discussed. Estimates and actions on this front have been ongoing since March’s vestry meeting.
