We welcome all who are worshipping with us on this Trinity season. St Peter's is a specifically Prayer Book Parish theologically as well as liturgically. What this means is that traditional liturgy (services) are the worshipping expression of normative Anglican, (i.e., of the Anglican Communion) belief. We hope that you find your time in our midst spiritually refreshing and beneficial.

Is there someone who should be prayed for ? Prayers can be either public (in Church) or private - in homes and the Rector's personal devotions

Fredericton Food bank: The Food Bank asks for a focus on ‘meal in a can’ items such as canned stews, canned beans or canned pasta.

Bible Word Scramble : mmeeerbr - see readings on reverse. Last week's answer: adoption Galatians 4:5

Note: Confirmation here at St Peter’s Sunday Oct. 21

Note: The floor of the altar area has been redone by Acadia Marble. The new floor is a white marble which highlights the beauty of our worship area and hopefully aids us in focussing our devotions and worship! Though wishing to remain unknown, Fr Hebb gives a great vote of thanks to our generous donors who have made this all possible. Despite other worthy causes and even immediate Parish needs, God’s house is always properly a place for the very best we have to offer!

Annual Holy Trinity Church, Lower St Mary’s Evensong Service: Sept. 9, 3 p.m.

ACW Meeting Tuesday Sept 11 7 p.m. in Parish Hall

Sept 30 Vestry at 12:30 in Hall // Evensong at 7 p.m. on same date

October 13: St Peter’s Annual Turkey Supper 4:30 - 6:30 - circle the date !!

Today both our Sunday School and Confirmation classes recommence. Please pray for the students, teachers, candidates, Fr Hebb and this parish as these important initiatives begin for the autumn season. You can make a difference and your prayers are the place to begin and are likely, though we cannot now see this, the most practical and immediately useful contribution anyone can make!
