We welcome all who are worshipping with us on this Trinity season. St Peter's is a specifically Prayer Book Parish theologically as well as liturgically. What this means is that traditional liturgy (services) are the worshipping expression of normative Anglican, (i.e., of the Anglican Communion) belief. We hope that you find your time in our midst spiritually refreshing and beneficial.

Is there someone who should be prayed for ? Prayers can be either public (in Church) or private - in homes and the Rector's personal devotions

Fredericton Food bank: The Food Bank asks for a focus on ‘meal in a can’ items such as canned stews, canned beans or canned pasta.

Bible Word Scramble : thilyf - see readings on reverse. Last week's answer: desolation Ezekiel 33:29

Note: Confirmation here at St Peter’s Sunday Oct. 21 Pot Luck to follow. Please plan to come and show support for our four candidates and meet and greet Bishop Miller, on this, his official visit to our Parish for 2007!

Parish Mission St Mary’s Devon; Sunday Oct 14 7 p.m. and the 3 following evenings all commencing at 7 p.m. All welcome!

St Peter’s Annual Turkey Supper was a success again. A warm thank you to all who worked, contributed, attended and ate!

Both our Sunday School and Confirmation classes have recommenced. Please pray for the students, teachers, candidates, Fr Hebb and this parish as these important initiatives begin for the autumn season. You can make a difference and your prayers are the place to begin and are likely, though we cannot now see this, the most practical and immediately useful contribution anyone can make!

Note: Please remember that parish finances are very tight as you consider your Sunday Offering. Summer, though sunny and beautiful, was very lean.
