We welcome all who are worshipping with us on this most Holy season of Easter - Christ is Risen, Christ is Risen Indeed! St Peter's is a specifically Prayer Book Parish theologically as well as liturgically. What this means is that traditional liturgy (services) are the worshipping expression of normative Anglican, (i.e., of the Anglican Communion) belief. We hope that you find your time in our midst spiritually refreshing and beneficial.

Vestry News: At our last vestry meeting (April 25) several issues were raised and actions taken. With respect to attendance and retention challenges at St Peter’s it was decided to buy member booklets for the English Program: “Everybody’s Welcome” This will be an entirely new effort by St Peter’s scheduled for the Fall. All interested people from vestry to greeters to SS teachers to ACW will be asked to participate in this across the Parish initiative to become an even more welcoming Parish AND to learn strategies for retaining the attention and attendance of all members of our congregation – new and old. Archdeacon of Fredericton, Pat Drummond will attend our next Vestry meeting on May 30 to present more details on various diocesan programme offerings geared to Parish transformational change!
Vestry learned that the old photos from the old hall were moulded. Digital copies have been obtained and estimates on the cost of producing 5 new wall-mounted copies are forthcoming. Costs will likely be split between the ACW and vestry. [Post vestry info places the costs at about $150.00 per picture.] Vestry will buy 2 tickets for the Bishop’s Dinner on May 7 if 2 people can be found willing to attend. The cemetery lawn mowing contract has been awarded to Steve Crouse at $150.00 per mow. Estimates will be obtained for a qualified professional paint job on the church exterior this summer. A supplemental 30 gallon hot water tank is being installed in the parish hall. The Parish now has a vestry appointed “Catering Committee” consisting of Brenda Smith, Mary Christie, Mark Fisher and Frankie Ashfield. This is designed to relieve the ACW of sole front line response responsibility for all catering organization! Finally, the possibility of attracting Bridge Tournaments to the Parish Hall was vetted and research as to viability will be conducted.
