We welcome all who are worshipping with us during this Trinity season. St Peter's is a specifically Prayer Book Parish theologically as well as liturgically. What this means is that traditional liturgy (services) are the worshipping expression of normative Anglican, (i.e., of the Anglican Communion) belief. We hope that you find your time in our midst spiritually refreshing and beneficial.

Vestry News: Vestry reviewed the start-up and initial status of the Parish’s three NCD initiated programs that is; the new Sunday School timing arrangement, the ad hoc visiting committee and the outreach teaching (Parables) session. There was discussion of the Parish’s Cemetery Fund which has built up to a sizeable amount over the centuries. The Rector and treasurer reminded Vestry that we are legally and morally bound to use only the interest from that fund and that exclusively towards the upkeep and maintenance of the cemetery proper – it cannot be used to repair the church building or to pay any other operating bills! Much discussion was held concerning Turkey Supper preparations and the sizeable workforce required. Ongoing discussion included the subject of rectory maintenance costs versus income generated by rentals and it was determined that a comparison of same for the past ten years would be a good study document.
An update was also received on preparations for our application for National Historic Site recognition.
