Our Sunday School is now running each week at 10:15 a.m. please remember our Sunday School; students, teachers and parents in your prayers.

The Parish’s last Vestry Meeting decided to participate in a local Anglican initiative called Back to Church Sunday on Sunday October 19.th The idea being that each church going person at St Peter’s personally invite another individual who otherwise would NOT be going to worship anywhere that morning. The service would be followed by a time of fellowship - coffee and snacks. The plan is that the person doing the inviting would sit with their guest and stay with them at the reception making conversation and introducing them to others. Invitation cards are available at the rear - please pick yours up.

Back-to-Church Sunday: Oct 19th Helpful Hint # 3:Two of the best outreach tools at our disposal are our cars and our dining tables. Invite a friend to church. Offer him a drive. Invite her back to your place for lunch where you can discuss the experience in a non-threatening setting. Just ask. It's that easy.

We welcome all who are worshipping with us on this Trinity Season. St Peter's is a specifically Prayer Book Parish theologically as well as liturgically. What this means is that traditional liturgy (services) are the worshipping expression of normative Anglican, (i.e., of the Anglican Communion) belief. We hope that you find your time in our midst spiritually refreshing and beneficial.

Helpful Hint # 1: Me, invite someone to church? How do I do that? Itʼ's simple: No questions, comments, criticisms regarding anyoneʼ's spiritual life are implied. Just hand them the invitation card to be provided and say something like, "Weʼ're having a Back-to-Church Sunday and wonder whether youʼ'd like to come as my guest." Just ask. Itʼ's that easy

As September has arrived please remember our Sunday School in your prayers. Two teachers have resigned after years of faithful service, one new teacher has stepped forward but another (for the oldest class) is required. Parents and children have been absent most of the summer and we pray that they will return to parish life come September.
