May 2 Midweek Holy Communion (Fr McCorriston) 7 p.m.
May 6 Easter IV Holy Communion 8 a.m. & 11 a.m.
May 6 NCD Survey Day

We welcome all who are worshipping with us on this most holy Easter season - Christ is Risen, Christ is Risen Indeed! St Peter's is a specifically Prayer Book Parish theologically as well as liturgically. What this means is that traditional liturgy (services) are the worshipping expression of normative Anglican, (i.e., of the Anglican Communion) belief. We hope that you find your time in our midst spiritually refreshing and beneficial.

Fr Hebb will be away on vacation Wednesday evening April 25 to May 2 inclusive.

ACW “No-bake sale” April 29 and May 6th – a basket will be provided at the rear!
A Music concert (country, bluegrass and gospel) in support of Bishop McAllister College will be held Sat May 12, 7:30 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church – north side, 770 McEvoy St.,
Rector, Organist and Choir to Pine Grove Nursing Home May 13 3 p.m. for hymn sing!

Diocese wide Ascension Day service with Bishop Miller May 17th 7:30 p.m at the Cathedral
Messy Church is Christ centred and offers an opportunity for people to explore their faith, coming together in a fun and engaging worship and finally interacting as a community to share a meal. Our Deanery has had two successful Messy Church events in March and April. The next Messy Church will be Friday, May 18th in the Community Room at Willie O'Ree Place , 5-7 p.m. Theme: Love of Creation There is no charge and no registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Spread the word, and of course, if you would like to volunteer and share in this ministry, contact Archdeacon Pat Drummond, or email through the website: http://www.headpond.ca/MessyChurch/

Next monthly ACW meeting Monday May 7, 7 p.m. in Parish Hall

Slow and steady – at our last Vestry meeting a discussion developed concerning envelope giving versus e-offering. It was observed that e-offering, no matter how modest, is a steady, known and dependable method of supporting the Parish whether one is present on a given Sunday or not and does not require remembering to fill out an envelope or perform ‘catch-up’ if one misses a Sunday.
NCD Survey Sunday is May 6: Vestry decided to conduct another Natural Church Development survey this spring. The Sunday chosen is May 6th – as many people as possible are asked to fill out the survey Please plan to be part of this effort this time around..Results will be shared and a congregational planning meeting will then be scheduled. Stay tuned.
