Note: On Friday Jan 25th at 7 p.m. a meeting was held between members of St Mary’s, Devon vestry and members of St. Peter’s vestry to discuss and investigate the possibilities inherent in our Parishes’ proposed “spiritual partnership”relationship. Fr Hebb chaired the meeting.

 ACW News: Monthly meeting Feb 4, 7 p.m. to view WDP Video by Women of France – all welcome to see video.

Our ACW will have a sale table at the Shrove Tuesd Supper on Feb 12th donations of baking, sewing, knitting and new or nearly new items for the elephant table  could be dropped off by 3:30 p.m.

St Peter’s is Hosting the local World Day of Prayer service this year on March 1 at 7 p.m. – reception following Storm date Monday March 4, at 7 p.m.

CCPC on Westmorland St, Pancake Supper, Tues. Jan 12 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Gym: Menu: pancakes, syrup, beans, sausages, rolls, tea, coffee and desserts – a free will offering at the door!

Fr Hebb’s Food Bank Challenge: The challenge is- every time you go grocery shopping this month that you buy one item each time for the Fredericton Food Bank – and then bring it to Church for an offering which will be delivered to our Food Bank. Technically, this is called an “alms” offering!

St Peter’s Vestry, on behalf of the Congregation, has made a $100.00 donation to both the Community Kitchen and the Food Bank.

The Bin and the Basket: our ACW is collecting items for two worthy causes: Farraline Place seniors home and Grace House women’s shelter. A Basket is at the rear for donations for bingo prizes at Farraline – paper, pens, candy, including chocolate bars and personal items for seniors. The bin is for ladies’ clothing, toiletries, personal items, paper towel, tp and non-perishable grocery items to stock kitchen shelves.
