We welcome all who are worshipping with us during this Trinity season. St Peter's is a specifically Prayer Book Parish theologically as well as liturgically. What this means is that traditional liturgy (services) are the worshipping expression of normative Anglican, (i.e., of the Anglican Communion) belief. We hope that you find your time in our midst spiritually refreshing and beneficial.

All foodstuffs brought to St Peter’s for Thanksgiving will be delivered to the Fredericton Food bank

Back to Church Sunday has been re-scheduled by our Diocese for November 27th Advent Carols & Lessons

Confirmation Class weekly at 10:15 a.m. Diocesan Synod October 28-29. 2011

Sunday School resumed Sept 18th. Note new routine: Children come to worship at 11 a.m. and then leave at the announcements for Sunday School in the Parish hall which then lasts until after service – this was one of the new initiatives decided as a result of our NCD survey and parish meeting!

Parish Annual Autumn Turkey Supper October 15 – save the date and plan to help and/or attend. Sign-up sheets are at the rear please show your support tangibly. Workers needed! Urgently required -- a Turkey Carver!

NCD initiatives: The Ad hoc Visiting Group met for the first time last Monday. Anyone who ever visited another member of the Parish or who might do so in the future is qualified to participate! Overall Goal – show that we care for one another and pray for one another!

ACW monthly meeting Oct 3 7 p.m. A Power point presentation by Fr Hebb describing the English section of his sabbatical will be part of the meeting

Oct 13, ACW deanery annual CCPC Reg is at 9 a.m. Special Guest Speaker is the Rev Canon Paul Jefferies of Uganda. Christmas Bazaar Nov 5/ ACW Parish Annual Meeting is Nov 7th commencing with Pot luck at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday December 4 2 p.m. Special Lecture at St Peter’s Parish Hall on the 400th Anniversary of the King James Translation of the Holy Bible – all welcome!

Schedules: The new service schedule, sidesmen schedule, servers schedule and readers’ rota are now out – all on one sheet of paper. Please pick a copy up for reference. These cover the period up to Ash Wednesday in late February 2012.

We welcome Julian Paul Bruce (Jackson), Jerimiah Jason (Jackson) and Tanner Joseph (Ouellette) into the Family of Christ’s Church this day. We pray for these boys and their families that their lives may continue to be blessed as they are at this day.

St Michael’s Youth Camp was again a smashing success with a goodly number of very impressive, engaged and devout teenagers in attendance!

King’s Landing: Fr Hebb has agreed to 2 King’s Landing Evening Prayer at 3 p.m. engagements this summer on September 4 and 18. Why not join him at the Landing – transportation provided!

ACW Diocesan Quiet Day Sept 7 at Camp Medley: Registration 9:30 a.m., worship 10 a.m. Guest speaker Heather Miller on her trip to Ghana, cold pot luck lunch at noon and day ends at 4 p.m.
