Christ is Risen, Christ is Risen Indeed

St Peter's is a specifically Prayer Book Parish theologically as well as liturgically. What this means is that traditional liturgy (services) are the worshipping expression of normative Anglican, (i.e., of the Anglican Communion) belief. We hope that you find your time in our midst spiritually refreshing and beneficial. We also pray that you might  find time in your busy life to return!

Easter Talks by Bishop Hockin: Mondays in April;  8th, 15th, 22nd Crowne Plazza, 12:15 - 1 p.m.

Entitled: Hope - when life hurts - lessons from  (the O.T. book of ) Job.  All welcome!

Is someone on your mind? Prayers can be either public (in Church) or private - in homes and the Rector's personal devotions.

Thank you to our organist, choir, the other year’s Confirmation class, altar guild, sexton, servers, cleaners, readers and the flower lady for their work this past week. Much has to be done by many people to make for a smooth running Holy Week. Thanks from the Rector!

St Peter's is hosting the Archdeaconry Commission's last Greater Chapter Meeting to present their "Final Report" on Sat. April 13th in the Parish Hall, 9 a.m. to noon. Refreshments requested.

Celebrating 175 Years: The other week Vestry brainstormed our anniversary year potential. Items being pursued include a catered Parish Banquet in the autumn as well as a special anniversary service with Archbishop Miller on Sunday Nov., 24th. 11 a.m. Our Sunday school is also running a "logo" drawing contest.
